Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ByzCalc website and software (the "Service") operated by ByzCalc Inc ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

ByzCalc provides financial modeling, bookkeeping automation, and AI-driven analysis tools. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3. No Financial Advice (Disclaimer)

CRITICAL: The content, calculations, and AI analysis provided by ByzCalc are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

You should consult with a certified accountant (CPA) or financial advisor before making significant business decisions. ByzCalc is a tool to assist in decision-making, not a replacement for professional judgment. We are not responsible for any financial losses incurred based on the use of our tools.

4. User Accounts & Data

Local Storage: ByzCalc operates primarily as a local-first application. You are responsible for backing up your data (exporting CSVs/JSONs). We are not liable for data loss due to browser cache clearing or device failure.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any API keys you input into the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated data), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ByzCalc Inc. The "ByzCalc" name and logo are trademarks of ByzCalc Inc.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ByzCalc Inc, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

7. Subscriptions & Refunds

Free Tier: The Analyst tier is provided free of charge.
Pro Tier: The "Fractional CFO" tier is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of the initial purchase.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
